Aware of the imperative need to respect the environment and the aquatic environment in particular, Fayolle Marine has engaged a voluntary environmental process.
Here are the commitments:
- Control our water consumption
- Preserve energy resources by modulating lighting
- Reduce the environmental impact of special wastes
- Encourage ships to deposit wastes at the indicated points at the port
- Reduce the impact of our wastes
- Limit the impact of vehicle traffic
- Sensitize port players to the yachting and professional environment.
These commitments require the participation of all yachtsmen and water sport professionals. Improving port water quality calls for reducing various wastes at sea such as waste water, hydrocarbons, large objects, etc.
Waste collection
To preserve the environment, before leaving the port, ships are to deposit their wastes in the facilities provided for this purpose.
It is recommended to organize and use the garbage cans and recovery containers present at the Ports into:
. Household wastes:
- Garbage cans and containers on the quays
. Toxic wastes in Dispersed Quantity (used oils, batteries):
- Specific containers at the Points Propres
. Glass, paper, packages, cardboard:
- Containers with yellow covers on the quays |
